Role description
We are seeking a seasoned AI/ML Architect with deep technical expertise and proven leadership in designing and implementing enterprise-scale artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions. This strategic role requires a visionary technologist who can bridge business objectives with cutting-edge AI architectures while leading cross-functional teams through complex AI transformations.
The ideal candidate will combine extensive hands-on experience in AI/ML systems with strategic thinking, architectural design excellence, and the ability to drive innovation across the organization. You will be responsible for translating business goals into scalable, secure, and production-ready AI solutions while establishing best practices for MLOps, ethical AI, and governance.
Responsibilities:
Design and document scalable, secure, and reliable AI/ML system architectures including data pipelines, model deployment strategies, and integration with existing enterprise IT infrastructure
Translate complex business requirements into technical AI solutions and create long-term AI roadmaps aligned with organizational objectives
Identify strategic opportunities where AI can deliver significant business value and competitive advantage
Establish architectural standards, patterns, and best practices for AI/ML development across the organization
Technology Leadership & Selection
Evaluate and recommend optimal AI frameworks, tools, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for diverse project requirements
Make critical decisions on technology stack, methodologies, and architectural approaches
Stay current with emerging AI trends, technologies, and research to maintain competitive edge
Drive innovation by identifying and prototyping new AI capabilities and use cases
Generative AI & LLM Expertise
Architect solutions leveraging Large Language Models (GPT-4, Llama3, Gemini) and LLM orchestration frameworks
Design and implement GenAI pipelines with appropriate guardrails, prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) patterns
Implement secure data processing workflows with proper PII detection, redaction, and data privacy controls
Support data science teams with predictive and prescriptive model lifecycle management
✅ Required QualificationsExperience & Expertise
10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, data science, or ML engineering with 5+ years in AI/ML architecture roles
Proven track record of designing and deploying enterprise-scale AI/ML systems in production environments
Deep expertise in end-to-end ML lifecycle from experimentation through production deployment and monitoring
Demonstrated success translating business requirements into technical AI solutions that deliver measurable value
Leadership Skills:
Exceptional technical leadership and mentorship capabilities
Strong strategic thinking with ability to balance short-term deliverables and long-term vision
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
