Role description
The Data Scientist will be part of a huge initiative where the goal is to improve consumerβs omni-channel experience within sales and marketing. Consumers are Medicare shoppers looking for the best health plan that suits their needs. The engineering team is responsible for designing and implementing an AI focused architecture involving different models (ML,GenAI and LLMs) that work in a cohesive way for various use cases for the consumers.
Your Impact:
β’ 1-2 years of supervisor experience
β’ Design, develop, and implement models using GenAI (LLMs, agentic frameworks) and/or traditional ML on the cloud.
β’ Write and deploy scalable Python APIs for model inference that can run on Kubernetes, ensuring efficient containerization and orchestration of the agentic flows.
β’ Implement and integrate semantic search capabilities to enhance data accessibility and retrieval for analytics and business intelligence.
β’ Utilize agentic coding and version control tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc for code creation, management and collaboration, and manage multiple activities in a fast-paced environment while adhering to best practices in coding and documentation.
Your Skills & Experience:
β’ 5+ years of experience in Python using common data science libraries such as scikit-learn and Databricks
β’ 3+ years of experience applying NLP (transformers, gpt, etc) or LLMs (RAG, vector db, embeddings) in a production setting using large amounts of data with a solid knowledge of NLP concepts
β’ 5+ years of experience applying Machine Learning techniques in a commercial enterprise, including supervised, unsupervised learning, time-series forecasting and other statistical analyses
β’ 1+ years of experience designing and implementing MCP and A2A based agentic frameworks in an enterprise setting
β’ Experience building scalable APIs for the models
β’ Strong written & verbal communication skills; including the ability to present detailed analyses to a broad audience
