Airtable Developer

Position: Airtable Developer Location: Cincinnati, OH – Onsite Type of Employment: 12+ Months Contract Role Description: • Strong hands-on experience with Airtable platform (Bases, Tables, Views, and Interfaces) • Expertise in Airtable Automations (triggers, actions, conditional workflows) • Proficiency in Airtable Scripting / JavaScript for custom logic and workflow automation • Experience in Airtable API integration with external systems (REST APIs, webhooks) • Ability to design relational database models within Airtable (linked records, lookups, rollups) • Hands-on experience in data migration, transformation, and validation within Airtable • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and access control mechanisms • Experience working with integration tools (Power Automate / Zapier / Make / Workato equivalent) • Ability to build dashboards, reports, and user-friendly interfaces for business users • Good experience in debugging automations and optimizing performance • Experience with low-code/no-code platforms (Power Apps, AppSheet, Retool, etc.) • Knowledge of SQL and data modeling principles beyond Airtable • Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) for scalable integrations • Experience in enterprise data workflows / supply chain / procurement domains (relevant to your PPWR-type projects) • Familiarity with version control, deployment practices, and testing frameworks for scripts • Understanding of security, authentication (OAuth), and API management • Experience creating documentation, SOPs, and training materials for business users • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, data, IT stakeholders) • Exposure to Excel/SharePoint/Power BI integrations with Airtable ecosystem Roles & Responsibilities • Familiarization with the organization & evaluation of existing Airtable/Dashboards • Revision of existing project BOM template, PO template & dashboards-Create Architect table linkages, dashboards, & automation. • Systematic implementation of templates & field customization to meet unique project needs. • Support across design, designer, equipment, and component functions for each project to ensure templates work as expected, questions are answered, and issues are resolved quickly to institutionalize this tool. • Wind down support, generate documentation- Documentation Artifacts for - Base Architecture Diagram, Functional Architecture Diagram, Data Dictionary, Naming Convention, Automation Inventory, Integration Map, Permissions Model, Quick Start Guide Generic Managerial Skills, If any • Meet delivery promise in terms of budget and timescales. • Track Project progress and make necessary changes to project execution as needed to ensure achievement of project goals. • Work within a multi-discipline team, consisting of the R&D Development Group, Marketing, Quality, Operations • Liaison with customer designated point of contact and functional area point of contact. • Multiple Project Planning and execution • Take complete ownership of the quality aspects of the project including managing other quality associates working in the project. • Knows whether to outsource based on capacity, criticality, and complexity of the activity. • Take a well thought out and planned approach involving multiple arguments or steps.
