Job Title: AliCloud Data Platform Architect
Location: Sunnyvale, CA/ Austin, TX
Role Descriptions:
• Hands-on experience with Alibaba Cloud data services.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms on public cloud , mainly Alibaba Cloud (Alicloud).
• Enable data-driven decision-making through robust data pipelines and architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Science, DevOps, and Business units.
• Strong SQL and experience with big data technologies.
• Proficiency in Python / Scala / Java for data engineering.
• Experience with distributed systems and data processing frameworks.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and architecture.
• Familiarity with Linux environments (RHEL preferred).
• Experience with real-time data streaming (Kafka, Flink, etc.) and data analytics (Spark, Airflow).
• Knowledge of cloud networking and security on Alicloud.
• Exposure to DevOps practices (Terraform, CI/CD pipelines).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
