Alteryx Developer

Position: Alteryx Developer Location: Tampa, FL (Onsite) Duration: Contract Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Alteryx Developer to design, develop, and optimize data workflows, ETL processes, and analytics solutions using Alteryx. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in data transformation, SQL, automation, and reporting tools, with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and maintain Alteryx workflows, macros, and analytic applications. • Build and optimize ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading. • Integrate data from multiple sources including databases, APIs, Excel files, and cloud platforms. • Write and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval, validation, and reporting. • Perform data cleansing, data blending, and data quality checks. • Develop reusable workflows and automation solutions to improve business efficiency. • Collaborate with business users, analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements. • Troubleshoot workflow failures, performance issues, and data inconsistencies. • Prepare technical documentation and workflow specifications. • Support deployment and scheduling using Alteryx Server. • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and quality standards. Required Skills • Strong hands-on experience with Alteryx Designer. • Knowledge of Alteryx Server administration and deployment. • Expertise in ETL development and data transformation. • Advanced SQL skills (joins, stored procedures, query optimization). • Experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Snowflake. • Understanding of data warehousing concepts. • Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
