Job Description:
We are seeking an Alteryx Developer with 2–3 years of experience designing and implementing ETL (extract, transform, load) pipelines and delivering reliable, scalable data workflows using Alteryx, Python, and SQL on AWS.
Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines in Alteryx Designer/Server to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries (joins, aggregations, performance tuning) across relational data sources.
• Use Python to extend Alteryx workflows (e.g., data cleansing, automation, API integration, advanced transformations).
• Implement data quality controls (validation, reconciliation, error handling, logging) and ensure end-to-end reliability.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions and clear documentation.
• Support production operations (scheduling, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance improvements).
Required Qualifications:
• A fully adjudicated Secret security clearance is required.
• 2–3 years hands-on experience with Alteryx in a production environment.
• Demonstrated experience implementing ETL pipelines (batch and/or scheduled workflows).
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with common databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, PostgreSQL).
• Working proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
• Experience with data profiling, data quality checks, and workflow documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Alteryx Server administration concepts (scheduling, galleries, permissions).
• Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD concepts for analytics assets.
• Understanding of governance, security, and privacy requirements for data pipelines.
• Alteryx Designer Advanced or Server certification is a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks).
