About the role:
The North America Quote to Cash (QTC) Customer Operations team is responsible for coordinating all aspects of customer support operations. This includes leading a team of support associates, establishing performance metrics, analyzing customer feedback, and driving continuous improvements in service quality. The team plays a vital role in ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by collaborating with cross-functional partners to resolve complex issues and contribute to strategic decisions that enhance overall customer experience.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess strong organizational and multitasking abilities, along with a solid understanding of service excellence and contract management processes. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written are essential for engaging with internal and external partners across technical and non-technical domains. Key responsibilities will include:
Ensure accurate execution of letter of commitments (LOC), customer set-up and maintenance (CS&M), group purchasing organization (GPO) group transitions and local contracts for new and renewal agreements.
Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external inquiries related to pricing activation and membership.
Collaborate regularly with distributor partners, GPOs, business unit sales teams, commercial operations pillars, and commercial customers.
Support enterprise-wide operational capabilities, policy execution, process optimization, and governance to ensure effective implementation of complex contracting activities.
Understand and support BD’s business and membership strategies to accurately communicate customer pricing eligibility for GPO and/or local agreement requests.
Manage price activation transitions ensuring accurate roster alignment and timely setup of effective dates for new and transitioning members.
Efficiently manage member account additions and removals across multiple ERP platforms using BOTs and automation tools to streamline processes.
Prepare and distribute dealer notifications to distributors, detailing contract pricing and membership changes resulting from price activation transactions.
Maintain centralized documentation of membership-related pricing exceptions in contracting playbooks.
Identify and report local agreements requiring modifications due to GPO group transitions using Power BI or other reporting tools.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will require....
Strong problem-solving skills with sound business insight and attention to detail.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and meeting or exceeding key performance metrics.
Serve as a subject matter expert to support the design and implementation of solutions that enhance accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in the LOC, CS&M, and GPO group transition process.
Partner with Business stakeholders to identify and implement improvements in GPO and local contract execution and renewal processes to drive sustainable results.
Work with varying teams to address contract execution activities impacting pricing accuracy.
Participate in distributor calls as needed to resolve related issues.
Efficiently manage and resolve a high volume of external and internal inquiries.
Leverage automation and reporting tools to research and respond promptly to stakeholder needs.
Education and experience required:
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent professional experience.
1–3 years of experience in commercial contract operations or related fields.
Strong Excel skills, including the ability to manipulate large datasets and extract insights.
Experience with data mining and visualization tools such as SAP BI, Power BI, and QlikView.
Preferred education and experience:
Familiarity with ERP systems including SAP, Vistex, and JDE.
