Job Summary
Our client in Dearborn, MI is looking for an Analyst General / Engineering. This is a contract position.
What You Will Do
We’re leading the biggest transformation in Our Client’s history—and this role puts you right in the middle of it. As the Underbody Systems Business Office Analyst, you’ll work closely with engineering leadership, helping turn fresh ideas into action and making sure the business runs smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll gain exposure to strategic planning, cross-functional teamwork, and executive-level decision-making. It’s a great opportunity to grow your skills in program management, data analysis, and business operations—perfect for someone looking to build a career in strategy or leadership.
Basics
• Business Analysis.
• Project Management.
• Aggregate and maintain key organizational metrics to support chief engineer design reviews and operational planning.
• Assist with whitespace thinking on new, emerging, and complex challenges and opportunities for the business.
• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience, including:
• 2+ years’ experience in areas that might include a combination of the following: corporate strategy, product management, marketing, product development, business intelligence, supply chain and analytics.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and SharePoint.
• Expected to be at the office from Monday to Thursday.
Preferred
• Program Management.
• Serve as business analyst for chief engineer managing chief engineer monthly operational spend.
• Manage weekly agendas and provide Chief Design Review (CDR) meeting minutes, expenditure Budget Management & Reporting, Information Flow Management (Ex: Key Performance Indicators, SharePoint sites), compliance and adherence (Sarbanes Oxley) assignment follow-ups and general process improvements for improved quality and organizational efficiencies.
• Tableau and Power BI experience.
• Ability to manage complex workload with a proven record of delivery.
• 1+ years of experience at an OEM Experience of interpreting and translating between research insights, business strategy, and design of products and services.
