Role description
Marketing & Web Analytics Analyst (Contract) Contract Length: 1 year Work Schedule: Hybrid (in-office midweek, work from home Thursday & Friday) Overview We are seeking a Marketing & Web Analytics Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across marketing and web product teams. This role partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to develop reporting, answer key business questions, and deliver insights and recommendations that improve performance. The ideal candidate enjoys working collaboratively, leveraging modern analytics tools to turn complex datasets into actionable insights. Required Qualifications Must Have: Experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) Working knowledge of SQL Experience with email analytics platforms (e.g., marketing automation tools) Education: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, analytics, or computer science–related field Key Responsibilities Assist with dashboard development and ongoing maintenance using data visualization tools (approximately 20%) Perform ad hoc analysis of marketing and web performance using analytics platforms, data warehouses, and behavioral analytics tools (approximately 50%) Partner with stakeholders to support digital marketing testing and measurement initiatives (approximately 10%) Support recurring reporting and help distribute insights to broader teams Contribute recommendations and optimizations to improve marketing and web performance Knowledge & Skills Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to tell a clear story using data visualizations Familiarity with: Data extraction from data warehouses (preferred) Modeling techniques (preferred) Media and advertising effectiveness measurement (preferred) Web and email performance measurement tools (preferred) Technical Skills Basic SQL proficiency Experience with R or Python is a plus Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills Experience creating presentations for data-driven insights Exposure to: Web and marketing technologies (analytics, ad platforms, marketing automation tools) Data visualization platforms (e.g., BI or dashboarding tools) Cloud-based data warehouses (preferred) Experience Background in a quantitative or data-driven role, or relevant academic projects Hands-on experience analyzing large datasets related to marketing and/or web engagement Experience building and presenting insight-driven reports or decks Equal Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Protected Veterans The Know Your Rights poster is available here: https://www.eeoc.gov/sites/default/files/2023-06/22-088_EEOC_KnowYourRights6.12.pdf The pay transparency policy is available here: https://www.dol.gov/sites/dolgov/files/ofccp/pdf/pay-transp_%20English_formattedESQA508c.pdf For temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, the Company is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.
