Role description
Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for an Analyst/Developer – General 1. The work will be done onsite full-time in Rapid City, SD, with the ability to select a start time between 6:00–8:00 AM. This is a long-term 24-month position that can lead to permanent employment with our client. Compensation is up to $20.51/hr + full benefits (vision, dental, health insurance, 401k, and holiday pay). Job Summary Cullerton Group is seeking a motivated Full-Stack Web Developer to build internal tools and public-facing web applications used across a variety of digital environments. This developer will work on both new (greenfield) projects and existing applications, contributing to full-stack development, backend API work, and workflow improvement tools. The role emphasizes modern web technologies, strong collaboration, and high attention to detail. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career developer (0–2 years experience) to expand technical skills and build impactful applications in a highly collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain full-stack web applications, including greenfield and legacy projects • Build and support backend APIs, ensuring functionality, scalability, and performance • Write clean, accessible, maintainable front-end code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript • Work with relational databases, write SQL queries, and manage data workflows • Contribute to UI/UX improvements and optimize web application usability • Collaborate with project managers, tech leads, QA, and fellow developers to deliver on-time, high-quality releases • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and continuous improvement of development processes Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience (2-year technical degree accepted with experience) • 0–2 years of professional development experience (internships accepted) • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript • Working knowledge of React, Node.js, Express, and REST API development • Experience with relational databases and SQL • Experience with C# and ASP.NET (WebForms preferred) • Proficiency with Git and tools such as Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio, and SSMS • Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS • Experience with Microsoft Access, Visual Basic, or WinForms • Demonstrated ability to learn new languages, frameworks, and technologies quickly • Strong reasoning skills and an aptitude for breaking down problems Why This Role?
