This is a long-term position that can lead to permanent employment with our client. Compensation is $87.52/hr + full benefits (vision, dental, health insurance, 401k, and holiday pay).
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade applications supporting digital operations and product quality initiatives. This position involves hands-on work across the full stack — from Angular-based frontends to Java microservices and AWS cloud infrastructure — as well as mentoring junior developers and contributing to software architecture decisions. The role offers the opportunity to shape technical strategy and collaborate closely with product, QA, and DevOps teams in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using Java (Spring Boot) and Angular.
• Build and manage RESTful APIs, microservices, and serverless functions on AWS (Lambda, Fargate, API Gateway, S3, Cognito).
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Git, and SonarQube.
• Lead technical discussions, perform code reviews, and guide junior engineers in best practices.
• Collaborate with QA, product owners, and business analysts to deliver robust, production-ready software.
• Monitor and optimize applications using AWS CloudWatch and support cloud-based data operations in SageMaker and Amazon EMR.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or 10+ years of equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of experience in full stack development.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Angular, and AWS.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, DB2, and Snowflake.
• Solid understanding of microservices, REST APIs, and DevSecOps practices.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with Snaplogic, Qlik, and Salesforce integrations.
• Experience with Kafka, Docker, and serverless architectures.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipeline management.
Why This Role?
