Job Title: BI Analytics Engineer Locations: Mountain View, CA – Hybrid, 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) Duration: 8+ Months, chances of extension Rate Range: $85 – 88/hr on W2 DOE Description: Our client is seeking an Analytics Engineer for a temporary assignment. This individual will maintain and enhance foundational data pipelines that power self-service analytics, automate critical reporting workflows to significantly reduce manual efforts, and ensure pipelines are consistently refreshed with new or seasonal data. The role also involves collaborating with stakeholders to leverage standardized dashboards to make strategy decisions. The ideal candidate has strong SQL and data modeling skills, experience building scalable data pipelines, expertise in BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI), and a proven track record of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making. HM notes: • Looking for Analytics Engineer – Creating Data pipelines • Coming from any visualization tool – like Tableau • 70% task will be SQL based creation of Data pipelines + 30% work will be BI Reporting task – Tableau, PowerBI or Qlik • Modeling – This means presenting data Responsibilities: • Identify or monitor current and potential customers, using business intelligence tools. • Synthesize current business intelligence or trend data to support recommendations for action. • Maintain or update business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems, or methods. • Manage timely flow of business intelligence information to users. • Provide technical support for existing reports, dashboards, or other tools. • Maintain library of model documents, templates, or other reusable knowledge assets. • Create or review technical design documentation to ensure the accurate development of reporting solutions. • Document specifications for business intelligence or information technology (IT) reports, dashboards, or other outputs. • Create business intelligence tools or systems, including design of related databases, spreadsheets, or outputs. • Collect business intelligence data from available industry reports, public information, field reports, or purchased sources. • Generate standard or custom reports summarizing business, financial, or economic data for review by executives, managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
