Role description
Job Title: Sr. Analytics Developer Job Location: Jacksonville, FL(Onsite) Project Duration: 6+ months with possible extension Role Summary: The Ab Initio Developer will be responsible for the development, programming, and coding of IT solutions, with a strong focus on data quality, governance, and system integration. This role involves documenting detailed system specifications, performing unit testing, maintaining internally developed applications, and evaluating vendor products. The developer will also ensure IT controls are implemented to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of applications and data. Key Responsibilities: • Create data profiles, write scripts, and develop workflows to support data quality initiatives • Perform data analysis for relational and non-relational data sources • Develop and enhance moderately complex system designs across platforms • Write and review code, ensuring adherence to programming standards • Develop detailed technical specifications and identify integration points • Perform unit testing, debugging, and support application migration throughout the development lifecycle • Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Project Managers, and vendors • Contribute to data quality standards and governance procedures • Conduct vendor product research and gap analysis • Ensure IT controls and corporate security practices are followed Required Qualifications: • 5+ years of related IT experience • Hands-on experience with Ab Initio, SQL, and Unix scripting • Strong complex SQL development skills (stored procedures preferred) • Experience with relational databases (NoSQL is a plus) • Familiarity with Linux (RHEL preferred) • Knowledge of messaging engines is helpful • Cloud experience preferred • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work on time Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
