Summary Location Uxbridge Job Family Digital & Technology Job Type Full Time Ref # 73866 This is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract Join giffgaff as an Analytics Engineer and help shape how data drives decisions across our business. You will play a key role in designing, building and maintaining high-quality data models and pipelines that power analytics, reporting and product insights. Working on our modern data platform, you will ensure data is reliable, well-structured and accessible, enabling teams to make faster, smarter decisions that improve our member experience. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Product, Data Science and Business teams to understand their analytical needs and translate them into robust, scalable solutions. You will design and implement dimensional models, including star and snowflake schemas, to support self-serve analytics and reporting, while building pipelines that handle large volumes of data from multiple sources. Alongside this, you will contribute to data quality, experimentation and visualisation, helping embed a strong data-driven culture across giffgaff. The must haves • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field • Experience in data or analytics engineering, focused on building data pipelines • Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python or Java • Experience with modern cloud data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery or Redshift • Strong experience in data modelling, including dimensional modelling techniques such as star and snowflake schemas • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP The other stuff we are looking fo • Exposure to data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Looker, Streamlit or Power BI • Familiarity with stream or batch processing frameworks such as Kafka, dbt or Airflow • Understanding of product analytics and data-driven experimentation • Strong problem-solving skills with excellent communication and attention to detail What's in it for you Our goal is to celebrate our people and their lives.
