Analytics Engineer (Telco)

Analytics Engineer | Contract | London Paddington / Reading | Hybrid (1-2 days onsite) I'm supporting a leading consultancy on a major telecoms data transformation programme and looking for an Analytics Engineer to join an initial 6-12 month contract, offering a strong day rate. You'll be responsible for building scalable data models and delivering trusted datasets that power business-critical reporting and analytics. Working within a modern cloud environment, you'll use SQL, DBT Cloud/Core and GCP BigQuery to develop, optimise and maintain high-quality data pipelines and business-layer models. You'll need strong experience with data modelling, CI/CD, data quality frameworks, performance optimisation, and troubleshooting complex data issues. Experience handling PII, working across development and production environments, and communicating with both technical and business stakeholders is essential. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving complex data challenges, and working on large-scale enterprise data platforms.
