Role description
Our client, the worldβs leading entertainment streaming service, is looking for a Growth Specialist.
This is a 12-month remote role. Candidates must be in the U.S., and must not hold H-1B visa status. The hourly rate is up to $160; benefits are available through Talent Table. No C2C.
Role Summary
Own marketing analytics, reporting, and insights for a location-based entertainment and experiential destination. Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Web, CRM, F&S, Performance Marketing & Operations) to ensure data-driven decisions, scalable reporting, and actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
Marketing Data & Reporting
β Manage and maintain the marketing metrics scorecard for weekly cross-functional and executive/leadership meetings.
β Define and monitor marketing KPIs, including attribution and funnel metrics, to articulate the overall impact of marketing on sales.
β Work with DSE to automate marketing channel reporting and ensure data accuracy.
β Write and maintain Google Sheets formulas; QA and troubleshoot reporting issues.
β Add or modify metrics in marketing reporting tools as needed, pulling raw data across diverse data sources like Google Sheets, APIs, and internal data systems.
β Serve as the primary point of contact for DSE on marketing data, reporting, and analytics roadmaps, including prioritization and requirements gathering.
β Contribute to the Marketing Reporting meeting, serving as a forum to align on roadmap items and track progress with DSE.
Analysis & Insights
β Conduct ad hoc analysis to answer marketing and business questions across multiple channels and within individual channels.
β Analyze how marketing activity influences ticket sales and other business outcomes, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and leadership.
β Lead thought partnership with internal teams and external media agencies on understanding marketing impact, trends, and performance drivers.
β Partner with Finance & Strategy and external media agencies to help determine marketing targets aligned with overall sales goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
β Partner with Web, CRM, and cross-functional teams and external media agencies to ensure marketing data and reporting needs are being met.
β Write requirements documents to support new reporting, dashboards, or analytics tools.
β Partner with cross-functional teams on strategic ad hoc projects requiring marketing analysis and insights.
β Partner with DSE to ensure marketing analytics tools and reporting processes are scalable and ready for evolving business needs.
β Partner with external media agencies on paid media dashboard design and evolution.
Qualifications:
β 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, reporting, or data analysis.
β Bachelorβs degree in Marketing, Economics, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent experience).
β Expertise in marketing performance metrics, attribution, funnel analysis, and measurement frameworks to evaluate marketing impact on sales and revenue.
β Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into strategic, actionable insights.
β Experience partnering with data science or engineering teams to build scalable analytics solutions.
β Experience working with a media agency and developing dashboards.
β Familiarity with marketing technology stacks (CRM, email, ad platforms) and advanced skills in Google Sheets/Excel; experience with data visualization tools such as Looker.
β Basic SQL or database querying skills preferred; experience with APIs and multiple data sources.
β Experience working in ambiguous environments and building solutions from 0 to 1.
β Exposure to statistical modeling, experimentation, or A/B testing.
β Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
