Analytics Manager

Client is looking for a senior Google Analytics Implementation Specialist to own enterprise-scale GA4 implementations, guide development teams on data quality best practices, and serve as an internal SME across digital analytics. You'll work at the intersection of engineering and marketing data - building the tracking layer that powers Client’s digital strategy. Job Title: Google Analytics Implementation Specialist/IT Software Engineer 5 Location: Chicago/Peoria, IL Contract: 12 Months Onsite What you’ll be doing: • Implement and audit Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager at enterprise scale • Lead and advise on campaign tagging, third-party tag integrations, and GA4 configurations • Educate and mentor developers and data analysts on GA best practices and data collection standards • Create and maintain scalable GA4 implementation documentation • Perform ad-hoc analysis and collaborate with US and India-based teams and product management. Required Qualifications • 3+ years implementing Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager (GTM) — this is non-negotiable • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and browser/web technologies • Deep GA4 expertise: property creation, eCommerce events, DOM scraping, data layers, form tracking, custom dimensions, enhanced measurement, Search Console integration • Ability to write scalable implementation documentation About us: Harvey Nash is a national, full-service talent management firm specializing in technology positions.
