Role & Responsibilities In this role, you will: β€’ Work with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and perform the transformation, filtering, and aggregation of raw data into concise, accurate and focused data models. β€’ Use internal software capabilities to acquire, ingest, and transform big datasets. β€’ Model and use data in creative ways to help drive problem solving and decision making. β€’ Work with data engineers to help develop analytical tools for internal stakeholders. β€’ Ensure information security standards are always maintained. β€’ Perform complex assessments and manipulation of reliability data, as well as further development of the company’s data retention capabilities, historic reporting capabilities, and data mining capabilities to complete complex analysis and reporting. β€’ Assist in the development of Reliability Engineering and Reliability Reporting processes, tools, and projects to support the goals and objectives of the Operational Performance organization. β€’ Provide technical advice and support to other departments as it pertains to Big Data and Analytics. Qualifications / Requirements To succeed in this role, you bring: Competencies β€’ Being a role model β€’ Being agile β€’ Collaborate and Share β€’ Developing Self & Others β€’ Empower to grow β€’ Focus on achieving results β€’ Technical Skills Skills And Requirements β€’ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent area. β€’ 1-3 years relevant experience β€’ Strong SAP skills β€’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are paired with the ability to develop creative and effective solutions. β€’ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively with people at all levels of the organization. β€’ Deep understanding of statistical and predictive modeling concepts, clustering and classification techniques, and recommendation and optimization algorithms. β€’ Experience working with a large volume of data with the ability to solve problems. β€’ Knowledge of the electric distribution systems is a plus. Skills/Abilities: β€’ Strong communication skills. Salary Range for Role $76,000 - $76,500 Compensation at PTAG varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
