Role description
We're hiring an experienced Analyst/Developer to join our client analytics team in Peoria, IL, supporting business stakeholders and Condition Monitoring Advisors (CMAs). You'll translate complex datasets into timely, accurate, and actionable insights that directly drive asset uptime and CMA efficiency. This is a backfill role with strong cross-functional visibility - you'll work alongside data analysts, analytics managers, and business partners on reporting, KPI tracking, API-driven backend updates, and operational analytics deliverables. Job Title: Analyst / Developer – Foresight Analytics (Level 2) Location: Peoria, IL (Hybrid, 3 days onsite) Contract: 12 Months What you’ll be doing: • Coordinate and facilitate the deployment of analytics onto production systems • Maintain and support analytics already live in production, monitoring health, signals, and alerts • Perform asset-level customizations using internal tools and APIs • Interface directly with CMAs (locally and globally) to understand needs and deliver timely support • Upload and query data via APIs to support analytics workflows • Contribute to dashboard development initiatives (Power BI or Tableau) • Support recurring reporting, KPI tracking, and operational insight delivery • Standardize and improve reporting processes within the analytics team. Required Qualifications • 5+ years of analytics or software development experience (Master's + relevant exp also considered) • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field • Strong Python skills- critical requirement, technically screened • Strong SQL proficiency • Hands-on experience working with APIs (data upload and querying) • Familiarity with Pandas - assessed during technical screening • Exposure to Power BI or Tableau • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Ideal Background • Software engineering or backend development background (e.g., Java + Python) • Experience in heavy machinery, OEM, automotive, healthcare, or finance • Comfortable in an operations/execution role - not looking for pure data science work • Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities About us: Harvey Nash is a national, full-service talent management firm specializing in technology positions.
