Anaplan Engineer

Anaplan Engineer (Contract) People Systems Engineering builds and maintains critical platforms supporting workforce planning, compensation strategy, recruiting, and financial alignment across the firm. Anaplan is a core system within this landscape, powering highly sensitive models used by HR, Finance, and senior leadership. We are seeking an experienced Anaplan Engineer to partner closely with the People Systems Engineering team. This contract role will focus on enhancing, optimizing, and maintaining complex Anaplan models, ensuring scalability, data integrity, and alignment with evolving business needs. The environment is high‑accountability and highly controlled, with direct exposure to confidential workforce and compensation data. Key Responsibilities • Design, build, test, and deploy scalable Anaplan models, modules, and enhancements • Refactor and optimize complex model logic to improve performance and maintainability • Partner with HR, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust model designs • Manage inbound and outbound integrations using Anaplan APIs, CloudWorks, and ETL processes • Maintain strong governance over data integrity, calculations, dashboards, and user access controls • Build and support dashboards for month‑end, year‑end, and planning cycles • Perform end‑to‑end testing across models, integrations, and security configurations Required Experience • Anaplan Solutions Architect certification (Master Anaplanner preferred) • 3+ years hands‑on Anaplan experience with multiple end‑to‑end implementations • Proven experience delivering large‑scale model rewrites in complex environments • Integration experience with Workday (or equivalent HRIS) and ERP systems • Strong stakeholder management and ability to run multiple workstreams concurrently
