Role description
1. Anaplan Solution Architect Remote Job Summary: Seasoned Anaplan Architect to lead and drive the design, development, and deployment of scalable Anaplan models across complex enterprise environments. This role is pivotal for translating strategic planning needs into robust, optimized Anaplan solutions that support cross-functional decision-making. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, a consultative mindset, and a proven track record in large-scale Anaplan implementations (Hands on experience). Especially with a focus on model efficiency, performance tuning, and enterprise-grade planning processes. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and implementation of Anaplan solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise planning needs. • Define scalable model structures, data integration designs, and performance optimization strategies. • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on Anaplan best practices—driving solution reusability, modularity, and maintainability. • Optimize existing models and implement performance improvements including sparsity management, model hygiene, and calculation tuning. • Oversee and review model development by internal teams and external consultants, enforcing governance and development standards. • Support change management efforts, including testing strategies, documentation, and user enablement. • Design and manage data integration between Anaplan and source systems ( CRM, Data Lakes) using Anaplan Connect, APIs, or Mulesoft/Talend/other middleware. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate planning requirements into efficient Anaplan logic and processes. • Contribute to roadmap definition for enterprise planning capabilities leveraging the Anaplan platform. Required Qualifications: • 7+ years in Anaplan with 4+ years of hands-on Anaplan architecture and implementation experience. • Anaplan Certified Solution Architect required; Master Anaplanner certification is highly preferred. • Demonstrated experience leading 3+ full lifecycle Anaplan implementations in large-scale environments (e.g., >500 users or multi-LOB deployments). • Strong understanding of optimization techniques, sparsity control, and model performance tuning. • Proficient in model building techniques such as dynamic cell access, ALM best practices, time-based modeling, and complex hierarchical calculations. • Willingness to lead through execution: Design architecture, then build it. • Fluency in end-to-end delivery: requirements gathering, development, UAT, deployment, and support. • Ability to context-switch between strategy and detail (e.g., architecting a COGS model one hour, debugging a CALC block the next). Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in regulated industries (Healthcare, Financial Services, Manufacturing). • Prior consulting experience with global system integrators or boutique Anaplan firms. • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology and experience working in cross-functional product teams. • Proficiency with scripting for automation (e.g., Anaplan Connect, Python, JavaScript) is a plus. • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and how they integrate into enterprise planning landscapes. Soft Skills • Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset with attention to detail. • Ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into logical Anaplan models. • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills with a solution-oriented approach. • Strong time management and organizational abilities to balance competing priorities. Passion for continuous improvement, coaching junior modelers, and championing platform adoption. 2.Anaplan Business Modeler Remote Seeking a hands-on Anaplan Modeler who can design, build, and maintain complex Anaplan models across enterprise-wide business functions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, data-intensive environments, understands business planning workflows, and can translate requirements into scalable Anaplan solutions. You’ll work under the guidance of an Anaplan Architect, collaborating closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality models that are accurate, performant, and aligned with enterprise planning goals. Key Responsibilities 1. Model Design & Build 1. Develop and maintain Anaplan modules, lists, line items, dashboards, and workflows based on business specifications. 1. Apply modular design principles, model hygiene, and efficient calculation logic to support long-term maintainability and scalability. 1. Ensure models are aligned to performance benchmarks, particularly in high-volume data environments (large hierarchies, multiple scenarios, frequent imports/exports). 1. Business Collaboration 1. Work with stakeholders to understand planning processes and translate them into technical specifications. 1. Participate in workshops, sprint planning, UAT sessions, and feedback loops to iterate on models and ensure fit-for-purpose outcomes. 1. Performance & Integrity 1. Execute model optimization techniques such as sparsity analysis, dynamic cell access, and selective imports to enhance model performance. 1. Conduct testing and validation to ensure accuracy, data consistency, and adherence to security rules. 1. Monitor model performance and proactively resolve calculation or data flow issues. 1. Documentation & Support 1. Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation for all models including user guides, logic flows, and technical runbooks. 1. Support model deployments across development, test, and production environments using ALM (Application Lifecycle Management). 1. Assist in training users and resolving post-deployment issues. 1. 1. Required Skills & Qualifications • 3–6 years of hands-on Anaplan model building experience in a professional setting. • Exposure to enterprise-level implementations with 100+ users, multiple connected models, and diverse planning use cases. • Proficiency in model building (lists, modules, line item subsets, DCA, time settings, hierarchies). • Familiarity with Anaplan best practices: sparsity management, model performance tuning, ALM, and audit-ready development. • Solid understanding of business processes such as FP&A, workforce planning, sales forecasting, or supply chain operations. • Anaplan certification (Level 2 Model Builder required; Level 3 preferred). • Experience with Excel, SQL, or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus. Preferred Qualifications • Background in Healthcare Finance, Business Analytics, or related disciplines. • Familiarity with ETL/integration tools (Anaplan Connect, Mulesoft, Informatica) and API-based integrations. • Experience working in Agile teams using JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools. • Understanding of DevOps/CI-CD concepts in Anaplan environments is a plus. Soft Skills & Mindset • Detail-oriented with a passion for building clean, efficient, and intuitive planning tools. • Collaborative and proactive in working with cross-functional teams. • Strong communication skills – able to explain technical logic to non-technical audiences. Curious, adaptive, and eager to grow into more complex modeling and architecture roles over time.
