Only W2 (No C2C/C2H/1099) Android Developer – Kotlin / Jetpack Compose Location: Hybrid Malvern, PA. Contract:W2 Looking for Minimum 7+ years of experience candidates Job Description We are looking for a skilled Android Developer with strong hands-on experience in modern Android application development. The ideal candidate should have experience working on large-scale mobile applications, contributing to both new feature development and ongoing maintenance within an existing enterprise codebase. This role is not focused on greenfield development. The candidate should be comfortable understanding and enhancing complex applications built primarily in Kotlin. Required Skills • Strong experience with Android SDK and Android Studio • Proficiency in Kotlin and Java • Existing codebase is primarily Kotlin-based • Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose for UI development • Strong understanding of MVVM architecture • Experience with Dagger and Hilt for dependency injection • Experience with Retrofit and OKHttp for API integration • Good knowledge of Kotlin Coroutines • Experience with Espresso for UI testing • Proficiency with Git/version control systems Responsibilities • Develop and maintain Android mobile applications • Build new features and enhance existing functionality • Work within a large, existing codebase • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, Product, and Backend teams • Participate in code reviews and follow best development practices • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks Preferred Qualifications • Experience working on enterprise-scale Android applications • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills • Understanding of mobile application architecture and performance optimization • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Nice to Have • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
