We are seeking an experienced Internet/Web Engineer – Advanced to support the development and maintenance of the State’s EDI Services framework and the Medicaid Web Portal application. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, implement, and support enterprise-level web applications and distributed systems • Support framework functionality for EDI Services and the Medicaid Web Portal • Perform frontend and backend web development, including responsive and mobile-ready user interfaces • Develop and support Java-based web applications and services using modern frameworks • Work within a production support environment to maintain and enhance existing systems • Participate in full software development lifecycle activities, including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, DBAs, QA teams, infrastructure teams, and stakeholders • Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of web applications • Assist in translating business requirements into technical solutions • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex web and EDI-related issues Required Skills & Experience • 7+ years of experience with Apache Tapestry • 7+ years of experience with JavaScript • 7+ years of experience with jQuery • 7+ years of experience with EDI Transactions • 7+ years of experience with JDBC Preferred Skills • Experience with Java • Experience with UC4 • Experience with ActiveMQ • Experience with Unix/Linux variants and Unix scripting • Experience with SQL • Experience with MongoDB • Prior experience with Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) Education • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field • or equivalent professional experience
