Role description
We're hiring an API Developer to join our team in Columbia, SC. This role offers a hybrid schedule, with onsite work required Tuesday through Thursday.
Work Authorization: U.S. citizens and Green Card holders only. Sponsorship is not available for this role; no C2C or third-party candidates. Candidates must be able to work on our W2.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Ability to obtain a low-level U.S. security clearance, which requires a thorough background screening and U.S. citizenship
• 4 years of application development, systems testing, or other job-related experience
• Proficiency in JavaScript and APIs (SOAP and RESTful)
• Experience with IBM DataPower, IBM API-Connect, AWS API Gateway, Kong, and Red Hat OpenShift Containers
• Familiarity with Node.js, Java-based services on IBM Websphere Application Servers, and OpenAPI Swagger
• Knowledge of GitHub.actions, Jenkins, BlackDuck, SonarCube, ReadyAPI, and Artifactory
• Experience with MQ, IBM WTX/ITX, Mainframe Copybook transformations, XML, mTLS, OAuth, Splunk, or MongoDB is beneficial
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and support real-time data integration across the enterprise
• Manage API Gateways and service orchestration for internal and external partners
• Utilize a variety of tools and platforms to ensure stability and responsiveness of integrations
• Develop APIs or utilize routing/transforming vendor services to support integrations
Education/Certifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree
The hourly rate for this position is $50.35.
