This role requires hands-on development expertise and API architecture mastery. The ideal candidate brings extensive Spring Boot and microservices experience, excels in designing scalable and secure API ecosystems, and thrives in collaborative, high-demand environments. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the design, development, and deployment of large-scale, high-availability APIs using Java & Spring Boot • Architect and optimize microservices-based solutions and distributed systems • Define API standards and best practices for versioning, documentation, and resiliency • Ensure secure API design with OAuth2, JWT, SSL/TLS and enterprise compliance frameworks • Collaborate with platform, security, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery • Drive performance optimization, load handling, and monitoring for mission-critical services • Mentor team members and support technical troubleshooting and solution delivery Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline • 5+ years professional experience in Java development with strong Spring Boot expertise • Proven track record architecting scalable, high-availability API platforms • Deep knowledge of RESTful API design, OpenAPI/Swagger, error handling, and versioning • Strong security implementation skills: OAuth2, JWT, SSL/TLS • Hands-on experience with microservices and distributed systems architectures • Advanced proficiency with SQL & NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB • Experience with DevOps/Cloud tools and platforms: Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP Preferred Traits: • Strong architectural and documentation skills • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities • Ability to drive delivery under tight timelines with a high level of ownership
