API Integration & DevOps

Job Title: Technical Lead – API Integration & DevOps Location: Benton Harbor, Michigan 49022 Duration: 18 Months Job Description We are seeking an experienced Onsite Technical Lead to serve as the primary technical lead for the client's Integration DevOps program. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, design and develop enterprise integration solutions, collaborate with business stakeholders, and lead offshore development teams while ensuring successful delivery using Agile and DevOps methodologies. Key Responsibilities • Lead hands-on API and integration development using modern integration technologies. • Design and develop APIs, microservices, and event-driven integration solutions. • Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and solution design. • Perform code reviews, performance optimization, and enforce development standards. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to prioritize backlogs and support sprint planning. • Drive Agile delivery using Scrum and DevOps best practices. • Ensure API governance, lifecycle management, and security compliance. • Lead and mentor distributed onshore/offshore development teams. • Support production issues, incident resolution, monitoring, and continuous platform improvements. Required Skills • 6+ years of experience in API Integration Development. • Strong expertise in Apigee X (APIM). • Experience with Cloud Armor (WAF & API Security). • Strong knowledge of Microservices Architecture. • Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). • Experience with AWS Lambda, Cloud Functions, or Cloud Run. • Working knowledge of Confluent Kafka. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices. • Experience leading at least two Integration Modernization projects as a Technical Lead. • Experience managing distributed Onshore-Offshore development teams.
