Role description
We are looking for an experienced Appian + Amazon Web Services Lead to architect, develop, and manage secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud-native BPM solutions on AWS. The role involves leading Appian platform delivery, AWS cloud architecture, DevOps automation, and operational excellence while ensuring security, reliability, and governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Design end-to-end Appian + AWS solution architecture with HA/DR, scalability, and performance optimization.
β’ Develop and manage Appian applications using SAIL, Records, Process Models, Integrations, and Expressions.
β’ Implement AWS-based infrastructure using EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, ALB/NLB, and CloudWatch.
β’ Build CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform/CloudFormation, Jenkins, Git, or AWS CodePipeline.
β’ Ensure security, compliance, encryption, RBAC, audit logging, and governance standards.
β’ Monitor, troubleshoot, optimize performance, and manage AWS cost optimization initiatives.
β’ Lead and mentor Appian/cloud teams and act as a technical SPOC for stakeholders and clients.
Required Skills
β’ 4β6+ years of Appian development and platform leadership experience.
β’ Strong expertise in Appian integrations, data modeling, and performance tuning.
β’ 3β5+ years of AWS architecture and cloud implementation experience.
β’ Hands-on experience with AWS services: EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, IAM, ALB/NLB, CloudWatch.
β’ Experience with CI/CD, Git, Terraform/CloudFormation, and production support.
β’ Strong problem-solving, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
