Role description
Application Support Analyst – P&C Summary This role focuses on enhancing and supporting core insurance systems across policy administration, billing, claims, and data analytics. The position requires deep knowledge of P&C insurance operations, strong analytical capability, and hands-on experience with tools and integrations that power policy, billing, and claims workflows. Responsibilities • Manage end-to-end policy administration processes including quoting, rating, underwriting, and policy lifecycle activities such as endorsements, renewals, and cancellations. • Work with platforms such as Guidewire PolicyCenter, Duck Creek, and Policy Decisions to configure and optimize policy operations. • Develop and maintain data components such as product models, risk attributes, and customer profiles, ensuring alignment with regulatory and business rules. • Support integration of core systems with CRM, financial, and payment applications to streamline data flow and ensure operational accuracy. • Oversee billing management activities, including setup of installment schedules, payment modes, and commission handling, ensuring proper integration with ERP and financial tools. • Provide functional support for claims processes including intake, assessment, and resolution, leveraging technologies like NLP, OCR, and machine learning to detect fraud and drive efficiency. • Build and maintain reporting and analytics frameworks using data lakes, warehouses, and marts to support actuarial, regulatory, and performance reporting. • Manage integration layers connecting core systems with third-party services, OEM data sources, and platforms such as Unqork, Outsystems, SmartCOMM, and ServiceNow. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance reinsurance processes and ensure compliance across multiple regulatory frameworks. Requirements • 7–10 years of experience within the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain, focusing on data and analytics initiatives. • Strong understanding of insurance operations across policy administration, billing, underwriting, and claims. • Proficiency in data analysis, visualization, and reporting techniques within insurance environments. • Experience with integration tools, financial systems, and cloud-based insurance platforms. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate business needs into functional solutions.
