About The Team
Join a dynamic team focused on ensuring telemetry compliance and automating testing for product code scenarios. Our mission is to uphold high standards in data instrumentation and validation while building scalable tools that streamline testing processes across the product lifecycle.
Typical Day in the Role
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to review product code for telemetry adherence.
• Validate telemetry standards and ensure data quality across systems.
• Develop and maintain automation tools for feature and UI testing.
• Analyze application logs and telemetry data to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Query large-scale data sets using SQL or SCOPE scripting to support compliance and testing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
• Partner with senior management and technical teams to define data requirements and implementation strategies.
• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-scale ETL processes.
• Write and code logical and physical database descriptions; guide others in implementation.
• Modify and optimize existing databases and database management systems.
• Test programs and databases, troubleshoot issues, and apply necessary corrections.
• Contribute to the development of internal tools that support telemetry validation and automation.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 0-2+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, software development, or database management.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (JavaScript or TypeScript preferred).
• Experience with managed coding languages such as C#, Java, or Python.
• Familiarity with database technologies and the ETL process.
• Strong skills in querying data using SQL or SCOPE scripting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Passion for working with data and enabling data-driven decision-making.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with feature and UI testing frameworks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Understanding of telemetry systems and application logging best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to develop tools and solutions that enhance testing and compliance workflows.
