Apptio One Consultant

Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Apptio One Consultant with strong expertise in Technology Business Management (TBM), cost transparency, and financial modeling. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing Apptio One solutions to help organizations gain visibility into IT costs, improve budgeting accuracy, and drive financial accountability. Key Responsibilities: • Implement and configure Apptio One modules including Cost Transparency, Planning, and Billing. • Design and maintain TBM models, cost pools, allocations, and reporting structures. • Collaborate with finance and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Apptio solutions. • Perform data integration from multiple sources (ERP, CMDB, cloud platforms, etc.). • Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs for cost optimization and financial insights. • Troubleshoot data, model, and performance issues within Apptio. • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes. • Ensure alignment with TBM taxonomy and best practices. • Provide user training and documentation for business users. Required Skills & Experience: • Hands-on experience with Apptio One / Apptio TBM Studio. • Strong understanding of Technology Business Management (TBM) framework. • Experience with cost modeling, allocations, and financial planning. • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud (AWS/Azure), and enterprise applications. • Experience with data transformation, ETL, and data validation. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Preferred Qualifications: • Apptio Certified (TBM Analyst / Implementation Specialist). • Experience with Cloud Cost Management (AWS, Azure, GCP). • Knowledge of ITIL processes and IT service management tools. • Familiarity with SQL, Excel advanced functions, or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
