Job Role: Agentic AI Developer//Lead//Architect Location: Malvern, PA (Hybrid) Job Type: Longterm Contract(Independent Candidate) Job Description: We are seeking a forward-thinking Developer to join a cutting-edge team building an Agentic AI Chat Assistant designed for self-directed clients in the financial domain. This intelligent assistant enables clients to engage with their portfolios through conversational, natural-language interactions. As part of this high-impact initiative at a global investment management firm, you will work on next-generation digital experiences powered by Large Language Models (LLMs), agentic frameworks, and cloud-native architectures. Your work will directly influence how clients understand and manage their financial data—flattening the UI, reducing friction, and delivering personalized, data-driven insights. Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performing AI-powered chat experiences using agentic architectures (e.g., Bedrock, LangGraph). • Integrate with internal APIs (Accounts, Holdings, Portfolio Watch, Transactions) to enable real-time, contextual interactions. • Contribute to evolving the Explain & Empower assistant from MVP to a robust, cross-platform solution. • Implement tooling for evaluation, observability, and monitoring to ensure responsible AI deployment. • Translate technical specifications into maintainable, testable, and high-quality code. • Participate in system design, code reviews, and lifecycle testing to identify and address performance or scalability issues. • Elevate code into development, test, and production environments in alignment with release schedules. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business and user experience goals. • Ensure compliance with Information Security and IT policies. • Provide production support and participate in special projects as needed. Required Qualifications: • 3+ years of software development experience, including at least 1 year in application development. • Strong programming experience in Python and TypeScript. • Proficiency in AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch. • Experience with observability tools such as Splunk or Honeycomb. • Understanding of software development methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and change control processes. • Excellent problem-solving skills, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment. • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a focus on building intuitive, intelligent digital experiences. Preferred Qualifications: • Familiarity with Stencil.js or other modern web component frameworks. • Experience building LLM-powered or agentic AI systems using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or AWS Bedrock. • Background in financial services, particularly client-facing analytics or data visualization solutions.
