Artificial Intelligence Engineer (GenAI Architect)

GenAI Architect 12-Month Contract | Fully Remote | W2 Only Overview: Seeking an experienced GenAI Architect to lead the design and implementation of Generative AI solutions across retail and small business banking. This role will drive AI strategy, architecture integration, and productivity enhancements across digital channels and internal development workflows. Responsibilities: • Identify and implement GenAI use cases across internal tools and customer-facing experiences. • Embed GenAI capabilities into architecture, platforms, and delivery models. • Improve developer and tester productivity using tools like GitHub Copilot and AI-based testing/documentation solutions. • Build prototypes and PoCs to demonstrate practical GenAI applications. • Provide training and guidance on AI tools, design patterns, and responsible AI practices. • Partner with security and compliance teams to align AI initiatives with regulatory standards. Qualifications: • 12+ years in solution or enterprise architecture with strong digital transformation experience. • Proven hands-on work with GenAI tools and LLMs (Copilot, GPT, Claude, etc.). • Solid knowledge of modern front-end and back-end stacks (Angular, React, Microservices). • Strong communication and leadership skills; experience mentoring cross-functional teams. • Banking or regulated industry experience preferred. Preferred: • Familiarity with RAG, prompt engineering, vector databases, or model tuning. • Experience with chatbots, personalization, or AI-driven content workflows. • Understanding of privacy and ethical AI practices.
