Role description
AI Developer Remote contract EST hours Summary We are seeking an experienced AI Developer to design and deploy an intelligent chat-based agent capable of reading and understanding all company intranet content. This AI solution will enable employees to ask natural-language questions and receive accurate, context-aware answers derived from internal documentation. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with modern AI frameworks, natural language processing (NLP), and enterprise-scale data integration. Responsibilities β€’ Design, develop, and deploy an AI-powered chatbot that can read and interpret intranet content and knowledge bases. β€’ Implement natural language understanding (NLU) and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) capabilities to accurately respond to user questions. β€’ Integrate the chatbot seamlessly into existing intranet or collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence, or custom portals). β€’ Build pipelines to ingest, index, and update large sets of unstructured documents (PDFs, Word, HTML pages, etc.). β€’ Ensure data security, access control, and compliance with internal IT and privacy standards. β€’ Test, monitor, and optimize chatbot accuracy, performance, and user satisfaction. β€’ Collaborate with IT and content management teams to ensure alignment with infrastructure and business needs. Qualifications β€’ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. β€’ Proven experience developing AI/NLP systems using frameworks such as LangChain, OpenAI API, Hugging Face, or TensorFlow. β€’ Proficiency in Python and common AI libraries (PyTorch, spaCy, Transformers, etc.). β€’ Experience deploying models and applications using cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP). β€’ Strong understanding of vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate) and document retrieval techniques. β€’ Familiarity with RESTful APIs, webhooks, and chatbot integration tools. β€’ Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
