Apex are supporting a fast-growing UK prop-tech company modernising the lettings industry with smart, end-to-end digital solutions. They are looking for an AI Engineer for a 4-week statement of work in their Edinburgh office. Trusted by over 1,000 agents, they simplify the entire rental journey, saving their customers time, reducing admin, and driving better results through innovation. We’re looking for a hands-on AI Engineer to work on high-impact, short-term initiatives that enhance automation, streamline rental workflows, and embed cutting-edge machine learning capabilities into their SaaS platform. What you’ll be doing as the AI Engineer: • Designing, building, and deploying AI/ML models to enhance their platform • Integrating AI-driven features into core product workflows (listing, tenant matching, lease processing) • Developing data pipelines to support real-time and batch processing • Collaborating with product and engineering teams to rapidly prototype and ship features • Improving automation across document handling, communications, and decision-making processes Tech stack & environment of the AI Engineer: • Python (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow / PyTorch) • API development (FastAPI / Flask) • Cloud platforms (AWS – S3, Lambda, SageMaker or similar) • Data processing & pipelines (Airflow, ETL workflows) • NLP & LLM integration for document processing and workflow automation • Version control & CI/CD (Git, GitHub Actions or similar) If you are an experienced and autonomous AI Engineer looking for your next exciting contract please apply, we need candidates immediately available to help our client get their product off the ground.
