Hiring: Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning Engineer Specialist Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid – 3 days onsite) Contract Opportunity We are looking for an experienced AI/ML Engineer Specialist to support modernization initiatives by designing, developing, and deploying AI-enabled digital solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in software engineering, cloud-native development, AI/LLM integrations, automation, APIs, DevSecOps, and enterprise application delivery. This role will work closely with business teams and technical stakeholders to build secure, scalable, production-ready solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Develop AI-powered applications, APIs, automation tools, and cloud-native solutions • Build prototypes and production systems using modern engineering practices • Integrate LLMs, internal services, and data platforms • Implement CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and DevSecOps practices • Work with React/Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or C# • Support cloud architecture, security, and enterprise integrations • Mentor teams and drive AI adoption through best practices Required Skills: 8+ years software engineering experience Cloud platforms & modern application development API integrations & AI/LLM workflows React, Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or C# GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps, Terraform, Kubernetes Security frameworks (NIST, Zero Trust, TX-RAMP) Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration Preferred: Experience with government, regulated environments, AI agents, RAG workflows, DevSecOps, and cloud certifications.
