AS 400 Tech Lead

Trident Consulting is seeking a "AS 400 Tech Lead" for one of our clients in "Remote" A global leader in business and technology services. Job Title: AS 400 Tech Lead Location: Remote Type: Contract(W2 Only) Rate: $70-$75/hr on W2 Job Summary • 15+ years of experience in IBM i (AS400) application development with strong expertise in COBOL, RPGLE, CL/CLLE, DB2/400, Query/400, and SQL. • Extensive experience leading AS400 technical teams, providing solution design, effort estimation, code reviews, and mentoring developers. • Strong background in Legacy Modernization, Reverse Engineering, and Business Rules Extraction (BRE) for enterprise applications. • Hands-on experience with AS400 ILE concepts, database design, performance tuning, and development of mission-critical business applications. • Excellent client-facing and communication skills with proven ability to gather requirements, prepare STTM documentation, and deliver high-quality technical solutions.
