β’ Team Leadership & Development: Provide line management to the Asset Data Officer and Asset Records Manager (including work allocation, performance management, and coaching).
β’ Process Optimisation & Automation: Design and implement repeatable analytical workflows and automated templates to reduce manual reporting hours and improve overall departmental efficiency.
β’ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary technical interface providing data pathways between Asset Engineering, Asset Records, Network Strategy, Operations, Health & Safety, and Regulators.
What You Will Need
β’ Data & Systems Mastery: Proven experience extracting, cleansing, structuring, and joining multi-source operational or engineering datasets using SQL from systems such as Maximo, Access, and Excel.

β’ Domain & Regulatory Knowledge: Practical understanding of asset management principles, engineering workflows, and statutory frameworks (e.g., PSSR, Management of Change processes) in utilities, gas networks, or heavy infrastructure environments.
β’ Process & People Integration: Strong track record in workflow optimisation, process mapping, team management, and acting as a translator between engineering functions and IT/Data teams.
