Role description
Birlasoft is Looking for Ataccama one enablement & Data Governance Specialist - in Iselin, NJ. Itβs a hybrid role, 3 days in a week work from office.
Insurance domain experience is must.
Job Summary:
We need the person with excellent communication, technical knowledge of the tool and data governance and experience working in Insurance.
Required Skillset:
β’ Hands-on experience with Ataccama ONE, SQL, and Power BI
β’ Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
β’ Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical configurations.
Data governance tools :
β’ Unity Catalogue and Purview Experience.
Key Responsibilities (Must-Have):
Reference Data Enablement
β’ Ingest, standardize, and govern regional and global reference data sets
β’ Implement business-defined mappings (e.g., industry classification, management hierarchies) to support consistent reporting
Data Quality Enablement
β’ Configure and manage data rules for profiling, issue tracking, enrichment, cleansing, freshness checks, anomaly detection, and scanner coverage within Ataccama
Dashboarding & Reporting
β’ Build and enhance Power BI dashboards for data quality metrics and operational KPIs
β’ Support migration of Power BI reporting into Ataccama-native monitoring capabilities
Collaboration & Governance
β’ Partner with regional Heads of Data Governance and GDO to align implementations with global frameworks
β’ Support governance adoption and consistent rule application across business units
Expanded Responsibilities (Nice-to-Have):
Lineage & Impact Analysis
β’ Enable visualization of data quality lineage and perform impact analysis across domains
Change Management & Enablement
β’ Assist in creating training curriculum on data quality, data governance, data literacy and documentation for data stewards and business users
β’ Promote data quality literacy and best practices across regions
