Job Description:
Audio Software Engineer (Contract) Tech Giant is seeking a talented Audio Software Engineer to join our team focused on advancing audio technologies for next-generation products. In this role, you will develop and optimize audio signal processing algorithms, build simulation frameworks, and design systems for performance measurement and data analysis. Youβll collaborate with world-class engineers in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Job Responsibilities :
β’ Design, implement, and optimize audio signal processing algorithms in Python and C .
β’ Develop systems and frameworks for simulating audio processing pipelines.
β’ Build scalable solutions for storage, retrieval, and analysis of audio performance measurement data.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and leverage audio performance evaluation tools.
β’ Document code, algorithms, and system architectures for internal and external stakeholders.
β’ Participate in code and design reviews
Minimum Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Audio Engineering, or related field.
β’ 2 years of experience in software development with Python and C++ .
β’ Understanding of digital signal processing (DSP) concepts and algorithms.
β’ Experience with data storage, retrieval, and analysis systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, or similar).
β’ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Masterβs degree or higher in a relevant field.
β’ Experience with real-time audio processing and optimization.
β’ Familiarity with audio measurement and performance analysis tools.
β’ Experience developing simulation frameworks for audio or related domains.
β’ Knowledge of cloud-based data storage and analytics platforms.
β’ Prior experience working in a large-scale, collaborative engineering environment.
Must Have Skills:
β’ Write real time audio code in c++
β’ Algorithm code in python
β’ Explain audio processing
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Audio Engineering, or related field.
Good to have skills:
β’ Ability to work with data base systems
β’ Experience with laboratory measurement of audio device performance
β’ Master's degree in Electrical Engineer, Music Technology, or Computer Science preferred
