Automation Specialist

I’m looking for an experienced Automation + Systems Implementation Specialist to support client projects for Hawkins Tech Consulting. This role focuses on the technical build-out of operational systems inside ClickUp and HighLevel, including automations, dependencies, templates, dashboards, and cross-platform integrations. What you’ll be responsible for: • Building and refining ClickUp workspaces (spaces, folders, lists, tasks) • Creating advanced automations, dependencies, and recurring workflows • Designing dashboards that support leadership visibility and team workload planning • Building task + project templates for multi-step processes • Handling HighLevel automations, workflows, triggers, and pipeline movement • Integrating ClickUp, HighLevel, Airtable, and other tools using Zapier or Make • Troubleshooting configuration issues and ensuring system stability • Documenting the setup clearly so teams can maintain the system going forward • Communicating clearly with me as we move through build phases What I’m looking for: • 2+ years experience building advanced systems in ClickUp (non-negotiable) • Experience creating HighLevel workflows and CRM automations • Strong understanding of dependencies, time estimates, dynamic date logic, and data mapping • Familiarity with integrations (Airtable → ClickUp, HighLevel → external tools) • Comfort with Zapier or Make • Ability to translate workflow diagrams or strategy into clean technical builds • Excellent communication and attention to detail • Ability to work behind the scenes while I interface directly with the client Nice to have: • Experience with curriculum workflows, agencies, or multi-department operations • Familiarity with SOP systems and creating template libraries • Experience with dashboard reporting About the role: This is project-based contract work with consistent opportunities. You’ll be the technical implementation partner on systems builds (typically 6–8 weeks). I lead the strategy and client-facing planning; you handle the technical execution.
