Role description
Our client, a leader in the utilities industry, is looking to hire a Process Automation Specialist. This role will be onsite 3x per week in Columbus, OH.
β’ This job is a 1-year W2 contract role with benefits!
β’ As a Process Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation technology solutions using tools like Visual Studio, Pega, Access, SQL databases, and more. Youβll support the strategic performance objectives of the Customer Contact Centers, troubleshoot technology issues, and collaborate closely with IT and business leaders.
What Youβll Be Doing
β’ Develop, code, test, debug, and deploy Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions in support of contact center operations
β’ Review and analyze organizational goals to design scalable and effective automation and application enhancements
β’ Troubleshoot technical issues as they occur, serving as the primary liaison with IT to resolve incidents
β’ Support and validate technology changes through the creation and execution of pre/post-change test plans and validation testing
β’ Collaborate with leaders and team members to identify, scope, and prioritize automation projects that improve efficiency and quality
Required Skills & Experience
β’ Bachelorβs degree or Certification in Computer Programming/Management
β’ 1+ years of experience developing applications in a corporate environment
β’ Hands-on experience with Visual Studio, Access, SQL databases, and/or Pega
Desired Skills & Experience
β’ 1+ years of programming experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
β’ 1+ years of experience developing VBA applications
β’ Familiarity with LEAN or Six Sigma methodologies
β’ Prior experience in the call center operations, utilities, and/or energy industry highly valued!
