Role Overview
The role focuses on implementation, migration, and integration of AVEVA/Wonderware System Platform (2023 R2 SP1). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in industrial software platforms, PLC integration, and system cutovers, with the ability to work independently in critical environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform system assessment and requirements analysis
• Install and configure AVEVA System Platform, InTouch HMI, Historian
• Lead migration from legacy systems (2014 R2) to newer versions
• Integrate with OEM systems using OPC/OPC UA
• Troubleshoot I/O connectivity and system issues
• Execute system cutovers within change management frameworks
• Work independently during critical deployments (including off-hours)
• Ensure compliance with security protocols (PAM environments).
Mandatory Skills
• AVEVA System Platform (ArchestrA IDE)
• InTouch HMI implementation
• AVEVA Historian & Client
• OPC / OPC UA communication
• PLC Integration (Rockwell / Siemens / Mitsubishi)
• SQL Server & Windows Server administration
• Understanding of ISA-95 & manufacturing workflows
• Experience with change management processes.
Preferred Skills
• AVEVA Operations / MES / MOM
• MQTT protocols
• Azure DevOps / Agile tools
• Virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V)
• ITIL framework
• Performance tuning & modern HMI design
