Location: Reston, VA (once in two weeks)

Job Description:
We are looking for a senior-level AWS Cloud Data Engineer to lead the design and development of large-scale data platforms. This role focuses on building data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses in AWS and ensuring the data is reliable, scalable, and available for analytics and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead a team of data engineers to design and build data pipelines in AWS
• Develop and maintain data lakes, data warehouses, and data integration systems
• Build and manage ETL / ELT processes to move data from multiple systems
• Work with large structured and unstructured datasets
• Ensure data is accurate, secure, scalable, and high-performance
• Design data models for reporting and analytics
• Support business teams by delivering clean and reliable data
• Follow best practices for data quality, auditing, and reliability
Required Skills & Experience
• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering
• Strong experience with AWS Cloud, including:
• S3
• Redshift
• Kafka
• Other AWS data services
• Strong Java development experience
• ETL / ELT pipeline development
• Experience with SQL (expert level)
• Experience with data warehousing and data modeling
• Spark / Scala experience (preferred)
• Experience with Hadoop or big data platforms
• Experience using Git, Artifactory, and DevOps tools
• Ability to lead technical teams
