What You'll Do
As a DevOps Engineer β AWS & Terraform, you'll play a crucial role in building and maintaining the robust AWS infrastructure that powers our client's digital transformation. You will:
β’ Programmatically create infrastructure in AWS, leveraging Autoscaling Groups, Security Groups, Route53, S3, and IAM to support business-critical applications
β’ Enable the data development team to deliver new code daily through Continuous Integration and Deployment Pipelines
β’ Build end-to-end data factory platform infrastructure using Terraform and related technologies
β’ Design and implement scalable, secure cloud solutions that align with best practices and business needs
Core Skills & Experience
Strong expertise in AWS services, including:
β’ Load Balancers (ALB/NLB), Route53, Auto Scaling Groups, and routing/networking fundamentals
β’ VPC design, Transit Gateway, and VPC Peering
β’ Implementation of least privilege access principles (IAM policies, roles, and permissions)
β’ Hands-on proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
β’ Advanced use of Terraform, including module design, reusability, and ability to write/maintain code independently
Automation & Scripting:
β’ Practical experience with Python for automation, scripting, and integrations
CI/CD Pipelines:
β’ Hands-on experience configuring and managing Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions for build, test, and deployment automation
β’ Familiarity with serverless architectures and general cloud-native infrastructure patterns

β’ Ability to clearly and concisely explain technical concepts, demonstrating both depth of knowledge and effective communication
β’ Strong problem-solving skills and capacity to design scalable, secure infrastructure solutions

β’ Collaborative mindset and passion for infrastructure automation
