Role description
Job Title: Sr AWS Developer
Location: Plano, TX
Experience: 8+ Years (5+ Years in AWS)
Type: 12 months Contract
Key Requirements:
• 8+ years of overall software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience in Python development
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS technologies:
• Extensive experience with AWS serverless technologies
Must have worked deeply on:
• AWS Lambda (heavy coding experience)
• API Gateway (REST API development)
• Step Functions (workflow orchestration)
• EventBridge / SQS / SNS
• S3, DynamoDB, RDS
• Strong experience building microservices & event-driven architecture
• Hands-on with AWS CDK / Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and integrations
• Candidate must be a core backend developer (not a data engineer)
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop scalable applications using AWS cloud-native services
• Build and maintain
