Azure AI Engineer – Document Intelligence Specialist | Robert Half | Remote (UK-based)
Robert Half International (an S&P 500 global staffing provider) is supporting a consulting partner in sourcing an Azure AI Engineer (Document Intelligence Specialist) to support a major audit and automation transformation initiative. This role will focus on implementing Azure AI Foundry, Custom Vision, and Computer Vision solutions to enhance enterprise document intelligence and processing automation.
Assignment Details
• Initial 3-month contract (extensions expected)
• Remote (occasional client site collaboration if required)
• £400–£450 per day plus 12.07% accrual pay via PAYE
Key Skills & Experience
• Proven experience delivering Azure AI Foundry and Document Intelligence solutions using Form Recognizer, Custom Vision, and Computer Vision.
• Experience developing AI-driven document processing, classification, and OCR-based automation.
• Familiarity with Azure AI Search, OpenAI integration, and LangChain / orchestration frameworks.
• Strong technical understanding of image analysis, entity extraction, and structured data generation from unstructured sources.
• Experience collaborating with data engineering and architecture teams across Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse environments.
• Awareness of AI model governance, data privacy, and ethical AI principles.
• Excellent stakeholder communication, translating business requirements into scalable Azure AI solutions.
All candidates must complete standard screening (Right to Work, DBS, credit, fraud/sanctions, employment verification).
