Role Description
This is a contract role for an Azure Container Apps specialist, located in Bracknell with the flexibility of a hybrid work model, allowing for some work-from-home opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing containerized applications using Azure Container Apps. Day-to-day tasks include writing code, conducting performance optimization, implementing security measures, and collaborating with the development team to ensure seamless integration of containerized applications. The role also involves troubleshooting, monitoring application performance, and providing support to team members.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in developing containerized applications using Azure Container Apps
• Experience with cloud computing and deployment on Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge of NGINX, Front Door
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerization tools
• Understanding of security best practices and performance optimization techniques
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work in a hybrid work model
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Prior experience in software development and consulting is a plus
