Azure Data Architect (Onsite)

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust software solutions that meet business needs while ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. This role requires a deep understanding of various technologies and methodologies, including cloud platforms, data modeling, and big data solutions. The Software Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive architectural decisions and guide the development process. Responsibilities Design and develop high-level architecture for software applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Lead the development of software solutions using programming languages such as Java and Python. Implement best practices in database design and management using technologies like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and NoSQL databases. Develop ETL processes and data pipelines utilizing tools such as Informatica, Spark, and Azure Data Lake. Ensure the integration of linked data principles into software architecture. Utilize cloud services (AWS, Azure) to enhance application performance and scalability. Participate in Agile development processes, providing technical guidance to development teams. Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve architectural practices. Qualifications Proven experience as a Software Architect or similar role in software development. Strong proficiency in programming languages including Java and Python. Extensive knowledge of database technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, NoSQL databases, and Hadoop. Experience with big data technologies and frameworks such as Spark. Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS and Azure. Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and practices. Proficient in data modeling techniques and ETL processes. Experience with Bash (Unix shell) scripting for automation tasks is a plus. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems effectively.
