We are seeking a Data Engineer with 7+ years of experience, including strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric, to design, build, and optimize modern data solutions for enterprise analytics. This hybrid role (Newark, NJ) involves working closely with cross functional teams to deliver scalable data pipelines, Lakehouse architectures, and Fabric native data models that support business intelligence, reporting, and cloud modernization initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
• Microsoft Fabric expertise: Lakehouse, Pipelines, Notebooks, Dataflows Gen2, Semantic Models, Delta format.
• Azure Data Engineering: Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Synapse, ADLS.
• Programming: PySpark, SQL, Python.
• Data Architecture: Data modeling, schema evolution, streaming architecture, Parquet/Protobuf formats.
• DevOps: CI/CD, Git, Infrastructure as Code.
Soft Skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
