POSITION OVERVIEW
Seeking an experienced Data Engineer within the Data Engineering Department reporting to the Director of Data Architecture to develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines across clinical, claims, and operational systems. This role solves complex integration and medallion architecture challenges to ensure high-performance data ingestion and reliability for healthcare analytics.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop data ingestion pipelines from APIs, SFTP feeds, Snowflake, and flat files utilizing Python, PySpark, and SQL within a medallion architecture.
• Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT workflows across clinical, claims, and operational systems using Azure cloud services, Azure Data Factory, or Databricks.
• Consume REST APIs and parse complex JSON payloads while integrating diverse data sources into modern cloud data platforms.
• Utilize Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for code reviews, pull requests, and automated deployment of data pipelines.
• Partner with US-based teams, participate in daily standups, and deliver Power BI semantic models supporting enterprise reporting.
